Decanted ("the app") is made by Jevgeni Agnevstsikov. By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on devices you own or control. The app is licensed to you, not sold. Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement applies in full and takes precedence over anything here that conflicts with it.
The app is free. There is nothing to buy inside it, no subscription and no advertising.
The photographs, notes and ratings you put into the app belong to you. We claim no rights over them and we never receive them — they are stored on your device and nowhere else.
Because there is no account and no server, there is no backup we can restore for you. If you delete the app, reset your device or lose it, the journal goes with it. The app can export everything — entries and photos — to a single file; keeping a copy of that file somewhere safe is the only way to protect your journal, and it is your responsibility.
Reading a label is a convenience, not a source of truth. Text recognition makes mistakes, and the app shows you what it read so you can correct it before saving. Do not rely on it for anything that matters — the value of a bottle, its alcohol content, or whether it contains something you must avoid.
The app is a record of wine you have already tasted. It does not sell alcohol, and it is intended for adults of legal drinking age where they live.
Please do not attempt to modify or redistribute the app.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. It is a personal journal and is not intended for any purpose where failure could cause harm. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without affecting mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
